This 10 mile running route from Glasgow Green is based on a run by our Strava follower Blair McLaughlan.
Make it a social one and meet your friends at Glasgow Green and follow the path along the river for about 2k. Take the stairs up to cross Rutherglen Bridge and follow the road round to your right past the Southern Necropolis and onto Cathcart Road. Take a right onto Calder Street and continue along the long and winding Nithsdale Road towards Bellahouston Park.
At Bellahouston, take another right and cross Paisley Road West to Edmiston Drive past Ibrox Stadium. Then left down Copland Road and round to the Science Centre and Glasgow Tower. Cross the Millenium Bridge over the Clyde (that’s the shiny metal bridge) and follow the river back to Glasgow Green to complete this 10 mile run.
Watch out on match days where it can extremely busy with cars and requires a lot of people dodging, and take care crossing the busy Paisley Road West.
