Only 9 months late with this update for 2019. Remember that time before everything got a bit weird? These were 2019’s most visited routes. You can still run the route for the top two but there’ll be no Oor Wullies to find anymore.
- Oor Wullie BIG Bucket Trail – West End 10k
- Oor Wullie BIG Bucket Trail – City Centre 5 miler
- The Southside Six

Oor Wullie BIG Bucket Trail - West End 10k
Between 17th Jun and 30th Aug 2019, Glasgow hosted Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail to raise awareness and funds for Scotland’s children’s hospitals. 14 of the 58 wullies could be found on this run.
Oor Wullie BIG Bucket Trail - City Centre 5 miler
This 5 miler in town packed in another 24 of the Wullies. They have now been auctioned off to raise money but you can still run the routes.
The Southside Six
2018's most popular route was only outdone by the Wullies which had a helping hand from Glasgow Live. The 16 miles takes in Queen’s Park, Kings Park, Linn Park, Rouken Glen, Pollok Park and finishes back at Queen’s.
Queen's Park 5k
This run flew into the top 5 maybe as a result of interest in the new Queen's Park parkrun which takes a different route. A tough 5k with some tough hills and great views across Glasgow.
Pollok parkrun
Glasgow's first parkrun started in 2008 and is still going strong. It generated a good bit of interest among our visitors.
