Pollok parkrun was Glasgow’s very first parkrun, starting in December 2008.
The route starts at the Burrell car park and consists of two laps round the North Wood. It’s a challenging and hilly run, not one for grabbing a pb but is a joy to run through the wooded park on wide concrete paths. After completing two laps of the hills, you get to finish on a downhill, where you can either go hell for leather or grab some composure for the finish.
