Starting at Clarkston train station this route at just over five miles gives you a nice loop of the local area.

Head out Eaglesham Road and take your last left before leaving the town, up Glendoune then Hillend Road. Continue on to Mearns Road and take a right through the Broom Estate and another right at Ayr Road to run through the Whitecraigs area. Take a left onto Davieland Road, running alongside Rouken Glen then turn right to make your way back via Eastwoodsmain Road.

There’s a slight uphill for the first couple of miles until you reach Broom Road then it’s downhill until it rises again for the final half mile.
