Get out of the city and onto the West Highland Way.
Jump on the train or bus to Drymen and set yourself the challenge of running up and over Conic Hill.
Once in Drymen, follow the pavement on Stirling Road out of the village and the entrance to the West Highland Way will be on your left hand side. Enjoy a great run on the trails taking in breathtaking scenery over Loch Lomond. On reaching Balmaha, come out of the car park and turn left. There is a pavement which runs all the way back to Drymen. Or… if you’re nuts, run back the way you came taking on the mighty Conic Hill again, Double Dunt Conic.
