Route description

Victoria parkrun is probably the fastest parkrun in Glasgow. It’s relatively flat (the elevation pic is deceiving) and features 2 and a bit loops of the park.

Its run on mostly concrete paths, however it gets a little tight down by Fossil Grove where the faster runners will try and squeeze past when lapping others. As long as everyone adheres to “keep left”, it’s fine.

After the tight squeeze, runners face the most annoying bit of this parkrun. A wee steep incline which isn’t too bad, but you need to do it 3 times and might let out a few choice words. On your final lap, you take a left instead of back round the pond and dig in for the flat sprint finish.
