Published on 21 August 2021, this route takes in current diversions on the canal and at the Glasgow School of Art.
This circular route starts at Blythswood Square, atop Blythswood Hill in central Glasgow, amid beautiful Georgian architecture. The route goes out along the Scottish Canal network from Speirs Wharf to Kelvin viaduct, and then drops down to the Kelvin River. It continues along the river paths and back into Kelvingrove Park, across a foot bridge across the M8, and then back via the Glasgow School of Art. There is a short diversion off the canal tow path where it is closed for refurbishment in 2021.
